When to Plant: Recommended planting time is fall when night time temperatures are consistently below 65 degrees.

Hancock’s Buck Buffet Mix includes four grains which establish quickly and handle heavy grazing. We added a cold-tolerant and nitrogen fixing winter pea companion to complement and sustain the blend while extending the life of the plot. Clover, rape, radish and turnip were added to assure plot stays highly attractive all winter long with sweet clover buds and large amounts of high sugar content. Lastly, perennial chicory is included for longevity, drought tolerance and it’s ability to thrive in poor soils. Hancock’s Buck Buffet is cold hardy and well adapted to all areas of the United States making it genuinely “tried and true” around these parts. Plant this mixture in the Fall at a rate of 50 - 100 lbs per acre. The seed depth needs to be approximately 1/4 inch and grows best in a pH of 5.0 to 6.5. This seed is pre-inoculated and doesn't require any further inoculation.
